A totally biased and unreasonable list of blogs that I think you might enjoy reading, which expands on the list in the sidebar of my own blog.

PPEA

From the VITA site:
September 8, 2005 — The Information Technology Investment Board voted unanimously on a motion directing the CIO of the Commonwealth to publically release redacted Infrastructure PPEA proposals submitted by IBM and Northrop Grumman by close of business Monday, September 12.

Good start, although it may depend on how much "redacting" gets done.

New Orleans

New Orleans is a disaster, and the suffering and loss there are extreme. My heart goes out to everyone affected by Katrina. But my anger goes out to the looters. Vermin taking advantage of chaos and hindering rescue efforts. I don't much care if they steal shoes and TVs. After all, the city's under water right now. But they've begun to get violent, and are going after food and drugs.

It's time to put the vermin down.

The Governor of Louisiana needs to give the word, and declare martial law in New Orleans. Looters should be shot on sight. No questions asked.

We kill rats without questions, don't we?
