Read it and weep.
Since McCain is doing his level best to turn off a such large segment of the country - those who are here legally and do not profit from the “invasion” - one has to wonder why another candidate does not step up to at least throw these voters a bone.
Promoting an [...]

More McCain Troubles
There will be no more posts…..
about Becky or the law surrounding the petition for 1 week.
I’ve totally lost my cool.
$350 Million
That’s the projected Fairfax County budget shortfall next year, compared to $152 million this year. That’s over twice as much. That makes this year look like a speed bump, as opposed to a brick wall. With all the hand-wringing and last-minute scrambling this year, next year looks to be an unmitigated disaster if the Board doesn’t [...]
May Day Rally in L.A.
Ok, I think i have changed my mind about the illegal immigration thingy. I mean, after seeing this protester marching in the L.A May Day protest for illegal rights, and seeing her succinctly put (and thought provoking) po…

How To Beat Mark Warner
I can’t put it any better than D.J. McGuire does: Finally, throw the GOP legislature under the bus: Luckily for the GOP, either candidate (Gilmore, who as Governor ruffled a lot of feathers, and Marshall, the gadfly of the House…
Cohen-cidentally
Quite an accomplishment, even for Richard Cohen, in Tuesday’s Washington Post. He pulls off the personal pronoun in the second word of his column…
Sometimes I think the best thing about Barack Obama is that little empty space on his lapel.
… and concludes his column with the personal pronoun just three words from the end…

French teacher can’t understand english
Sent: Monday, May 05, 2008 4:26 PM
Subject: Did you really want to remove Neal before her trial?
I saw that you signed the petition to remove Ms. Neal
from office. I had a few questions for you:
1. Did you realize the petition would not only have
the effect of suspending her but could also be used to
remove her [...]

How Hillary Clinton’s Fortunes Have Changed
Hillary Clinton now:
Sensing momentum in a state she was once expected to lose handily, Clinton spent part of Monday campaigning in North Carolina, where she championed her proposal to suspend the federal gas tax for the summer, promised to take on oil companies over alleged price gouging, and pledged a return to the economic progress [...]

My Fairfax City Ballott Tommorow
For Mayor: Rosemary McDowell On July 14, 2005, Mayor Lederer stated that “It is the city’s opinion that…change in the traffic pattern and the redevelopment will enhance the value of the existing businesses and properties. The new businesses will attract…
Mark Warner Kickoff: Abingdon Photos

Future Sen. Mark Warner getting off the plane at the Tri-Cities Airport in Blountville, Tennessee, on the way to Abingdon, Virginia — first stop on his kickoff tour (5/4/08).

Sen. Philip Puckett.

Rep. Rick Boucher.

Hillary Clinton- Hypocrite.
Then:
“I think that presidents should be very careful at all times in discussing the use or non-use of nuclear weapons. Presidents, since the Cold War, have used nuclear deterrence to keep the peace. And I don’t believe that any president should make any blanket statements with respect to the use or non-use of nuclear weapons.”
And Now:
“I want the Iranians to know that if I’m the president, we will attack Iran,” Clinton said. “In the next 10 years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them.”
What a difference 8 months make.
Mark Warner in Richmond!
Governor Warner continued his campaign kick-off tour in Richmond around 3pm today. The event included speeches by Congressman Bobby Scott and Governor Tim Kaine (more Photos on the flip)
The event was held in Richmond’s Bio Tech Park, Governor Warner was instrumental in making sure facilities such as this one recieved the proper funding (Unlike Jim Gilmore who did nothing and let millions of dollars get taken back by the Federal Government) This was my first time seeing Governor Warner speak, and I must say I was incredibly impressed by him. His speech solidified my support for him. His idea for a block of “Radical Centrists” in the US Senate is something I can get behind with 100% support and confidence. I can’t wait until we can call him Senator Warner.

Sorry about the image quality, I need a new camera!
The Pain of Cinco de Mayo
Today is Cinco de Mayo. I surely am not the first to suggest that this is a holiday that no doubt causes a sort of brain freeze for certain self-described conservatives. Why is that? Well, Cinco de Mayo celebrates a battlefield victory by the Mexicans…
It Only Took 40 Years…
A year ago, who would have thought that a Washington Post article published on May 5 would begin with this clause? On the eve of crucial presidential primaries in Indiana and North Carolina…
Dominion Power Refuses Local Solar Energy
Did you know that the Franklin Park Theater in Purcellville has a 70,000 watt solar array? Did you know that the array was built with donated money and cost the taxpayers not a dime? Did you know that Dominion Power refuses to connect to it and use the…

Harlon Reece for Mayor of Herndon
Since Virginia elects it’s state officials in odd number years, it sometimes feels as though we always have some sort of election going on in our great Commonwealth. That feeling is perhaps even furthered now that we have some local races coming up. That is the case in Herndon, VA as voters go to the [...]
