Bearack Obama

Posted by One Wise Girl in September 22nd 2008

Photo captures a disturbing trend that is beginning to affect wildlife in the US. Animals that were formerly self-sufficient are now showing signs of belonging to the Democratic Party… as they have apparently learned to just sit and wait for the government to step in and provide for their care and sustenance. This photo is of a Democrat black bear in Montana nicknamed ‘Bearack Obama’!

John McCain’s America

Posted by One Wise Girl in September 5th 2008

I fell in love with my country when I was a prisoner in someone else’s. I loved it not just for the many comforts of life here. I loved it for its decency, for its faith in the wisdom, justice, and goodness of its people. I loved it because it was not just a place, but an idea, a cause worth fighting for. I was never the same again; I wasn’t my own man anymore; I was my country’s. ~John

Prayers for Palin

Posted by One Wise Girl in September 3rd 2008

They say (they being the media) that tonight Gov. Sarah Palin will give the most important speech of her life. Maybe, maybe not. Mothers give many speeches that have absolute importance within their families lives. Anyway, Kilo and I are asking our readers to spark it up today in the prayer realm. We have no doubts that Gov. Palin will be prepared for this speech and that this speech will ignite

Congratulations to the Palin Family

Posted by One Wise Girl in September 1st 2008

The Palin family will be growing again soon and Kilo and I say God Bless You all and may this be an occasion of much rejoicing and the Lord’s richest blessing upon ALL of you. “We have been blessed with five wonderful children who we love with all our heart and mean everything to us. Our beautiful daughter Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew would make her grow up faster than we

McCain putting Obama on Ice?

Posted by One Wise Girl in August 29th 2008

Well now, I have been sitting here waiting with many others to see who McCain would ask to be his running mate. I am impressed. I am a small town woman facing small town problems every single day of my life. I am tired of the Good Ol’ Boys way of doing things. I am tired of people in Government telling how my life is and what needs to take place to fix my life. Barack Obama’s Campaign

Mr. Rogers dead and now gone?

Posted by One Wise Girl in August 10th 2008

A travesty, blaspheme, a sad sad day in America. It seems that PBS has decided to can the man who taught millions of children manners and what a gentle spirit can do. Not only that, he showed us the importance of always wearing your sweater and having a pair of play shoes and that puppets have feelings too. If you are in total shock of the thoughts of future Americans never knowing what we know

Mans Best Friend Anoints Obama

Posted by One Wise Girl in July 28th 2008

Have you ever heard that a dog “knows” when an earthquake is about to hit? Have you ever heard that a dog can “sense” when a tornado is stirring up, even 20 miles away? Do you remember hearing that before the December tsunami struck Southeast Asia, dogs started running frantically away from the seashore, at breakneck speed? Do you know that dogs can detect cancer and other serious illnesses

Storytime Saturday

Posted by One Wise Girl in July 12th 2008

I bought a bird feeder. I hung it on my back porch and filled it with seed. I thought, “what a beauty of a bird feeder it is”, as I filled it lovingly with seed. Within a week we had hundreds of birds taking advantage of the continuous flow of free and easily accessible food. But then the birds started building nests in the boards of the patio, above the table, and next to the barbecue.

The Buck Starts Here

Posted by One Wise Girl in July 2nd 2008

I hated him as a football announcer but I have to admit he might have something here. Honey, I want a big big fuel guzzler so I can help out the earth too. I think that is a better way then hanging from a bridge. Ha Ha Ha Technorati Tags: Global Warming,Dennis Miller,Mother Earth, environmentalist

I want Ted Nugent for President

Posted by One Wise Girl in June 28th 2008

There was a time for an actor to represent the greatest nation in the world, perhaps today is the right time to be thinking about a rock star doing the same- he would get my vote for sure! The following is a Teditorial from Ted Nugent. I chose to put it all here for your viewing pleasure and because I understand following a link is tough for some ( ok, that part was for Kilo who is always

Tag Teaming It

Posted by One Wise Girl in June 17th 2008

When it comes to Kilo I am pretty certain that there is not one guardian angel but there are a few and they tag-team the job. He has been known to keep them very busy. Carl is back home and resting as well as he can. He will be a grumpy one for a couple days but I think I found something that will please him when he is up to it. In a way it is another tag team effort. Check this out: A

Oil Shortage

Posted by One Wise Girl in May 23rd 2008

A lot of people can’t understand how we came to have an oil shortage in our country. Well, there’s a very simple answer. We just didn’t know that we were getting low. Nobody bothered to check the oil. The reason for that is purely geographical. Our OIL is located in Alaska California Coastal Florida Coastal Louisiana Kansas Oklahoma Pennsylvania and Texas Our DIPSTICKS, however,

Right To Carry Amendment- needs our attention

Posted by One Wise Girl in May 14th 2008

Kilo’s blog sis The Red Queen asked us to post this as in her words ” You guys have way way more readers then I do and they will have a greater concern then my quilting friends do. I think this is something we should all care about as it is about one of our fundamental rights- the right to carry.” We agree. The following is total copy and paste from Red Queens post: I just received this from my

Welcome back Indy

Posted by One Wise Girl in May 5th 2008

Ok, excited may just not be a strong enough word for the jubilation I am feeling right now. I just discovered that Indiana Jones lives on and will wow me with another great adventure. I have patiently waited 19 years. Ok, when I was not so patient I would watch my worn out videos. I would love to hear that Sean Connery will once again appear to play Indy’s father but that does not appear to be
